2021 में टीईटी पेपर लीक के मुख्य आरोपित प्रभात को भी क्राइम ब्रांच की टीम ने मंगलवार को भरवारी से गिरफ्तार कर लिया। वह इस समय बाराबंकी के सोहवर स्थित प्राथमिक विद्यालय में शिक्षक के पद पर तैनात है। पुलिस ने उसे कोर्ट में पेश किया जहां से उसे जेल भेज दिया गया। इसके पहले पुलिस टीम इस प्रकरण के चार आरोपितों को गिरफ्तार कर जेल भेज चुकी है।

28 नवंबर 2021 को उम्र टीईटी की परीक्षा होनी थी। लखनऊ एसटीएफ ने कोखराज के पास से प्रयागराज के झलवा निवासी रोशन सिंह पटेल गिरफ्तार किया था। उसके पास से विभिन्न परीक्षाओं के प्रवेश पत्र, आधार कार्ड, कई विषयों के प्रश्नोत्तर 14 हजार 200 रुपये व अन्य दस्तावेज मिले। उसने बताया कि प्रत्येक परीक्षार्थी को यह पेपर मोबाइल पर 80 हजार रुपये में उपलब्ध कराना था। 

यह पेपर उसे बलिया के प्रभात कुमार सिंह ने प्रयागराज में डायमंड जुबली छात्रावास के समीप उपलब्ध कराया है। वह पेपर प्रयागराज में कई लोगों को देने के बाद कौशांबी में परीक्षार्थियों को उपलब्ध कराने जा रहा था, लेकिन पकड़ा गया। रोशन ने यह भी बताया कि पेपर लीक में संतोष निवासी लखनऊ, प्रभात सिंह व कई अन्य शामिल हैं। एसटीएफ के निरीक्षक अंजनी तिवारी की तहरीर पर 28 नवंबर 2021 को कोखराज थाना में रोशन सिंह, प्रभात कुमार सिंह, संतोष कुमार व कई अन्य के खिलाफ केस दर्ज किया गया। सीओ सिराथू अवधेश कुमार विश्वकर्मा के मुताबिक मंगलवार को पकड़ा गया आरोपित प्रभात इन दिनों बाराबंकी जनपद के सोहवर स्थित प्राथमिक विद्यालय में शिक्षक के पद पर तैनात है।

Prabhat, the main accused in the 2021 TET paper leak, was also arrested by the Crime Branch team from Bharwari on Tuesday. He is currently posted as a teacher in a primary school in Sohwar, Barabanki. The police produced him in court from where he was sent to jail. Earlier, the police team had arrested four accused in this case and sent them to jail.

The Umar TET exam was to be held on 28 November 2021. Lucknow STF arrested Roshan Singh Patel, a resident of Jhalwa, Prayagraj, near Kokhraj. Admit cards of various examinations, Aadhar cards, questions and answers of many subjects, Rs 14,200 and other documents were found from him. He told that this paper was to be made available to each candidate on mobile for Rs 80,000. This paper was made available to him by Prabhat Kumar Singh of Ballia near Diamond Jubilee hostel in Prayagraj. After giving the paper to many people in Prayagraj, he was going to make it available to the candidates in Kaushambi, but was caught. Roshan also told that Santosh resident Lucknow, Prabhat Singh and many others are involved in the paper leak. On the complaint of STF inspector Anjani Tiwari, a case was registered against Roshan Singh, Prabhat Kumar Singh, Santosh Kumar and many others in Kokhraj police station on 28 November 2021. According to CO Sirathu Awadhesh Kumar Vishwakarma, the accused Prabhat who was caught on Tuesday is currently posted as a teacher in the primary school located in Sohwar of Barabanki district.
